Abstract
When the Nigerian government set out to fashion a pension reform strategy, that gave birth to the new contributory pension scheme, it was guided by many factors. Besides addressing the problems of the pension industry, the government needs a system that would among others be financially sustainable, simple, transparent, cost-effective and encourage savings among workers. However, the actualization of these objectives lies heavily on administration. Administration can make any policy/scheme, it is always at the center of actualization of the objective of such policy, therefore, cannot be overemphasized. Administration plays a pivotal role in enhancing any policy (pension inclusive). It is against this backdrop that this research work aimed at highlighting the roles of administration in enhancing the pension scheme in Nigeria. Chapter one is for introduction while chapter two deals with the literature review. Chapter three is the research methodology, chapter four contains data presentation and analysis while chapter five is summary, recommendation and conclusion.
