Abstract
This study is to examine The Role of a Secretary as an Image Maker of a Business Organization, using Dangote Cement Factory, Obajana as a case study. The descriptive survey design was used for the study because it focuses on people, the vital facts of people and their beliefs, options attitudes motivations and behavior. In carrying out this research work, 20 respondents were engaged. The secretary is an important personnel and a public relations expert in the business world, and the work in an organization cannot be improved or prosper in the absence of the manager. It is concluded that secretaries are the backbone of any organization, and are also important to the organization because of their ability to remain calm under extraordinary conditions of work pressure and human demand. The findings suggested that secretaries should be accorded the required recognition that is due to him or her in the organization and should not be looked at as a mere help to the other members of the organization.
