Design and implementation of automated contract bidding system

Description

Abstract This project was centered on computerized contract bidding. The current process of keeping contract information is being operated manually and due to this procedure, numerous problems are been encountered. A design was taken to computerized the manual process in order to check this problem. The problems were identified after a series of interviews and examination of documents after which analysis was made and a computerized procedure recommended. The aim of this research is to maintain contract management information system for forecasting and decision making. The researcher conducted a research work that is limited to computerized online contract bidding system only. In conclusion, the design and implementation of a computerized contract bidding system was achieved with a standardized and structural database. The new system was designed using web design tools (PHP, HTML, J Query, java script and CSS). This tool was chosen because of its simplicity and it is the best tool for developing web base applications. The new system used back ends known as MySQL, it allows standard and structural storage of records.
