Abstract
This project examined the impact of cocoa production in Ekiti state by considering the fact that there is no cocoa processing factory for Spagnvola Nig. Ltd in the state, more so, Spagnvola doesn’t have cocoa butter and cocoa powder as their finished product. In leu, my client has hired me to design a cocoa processing factory for Spagnvola Nig. Ltd located at Isanda street, Agbado Ekiti, Ekiti state which will be capable of producing 600 metric tons per year (2 tons per day), one ton for cocoa butter and one ton for cocoa powder. To come up with this design, I have visited or carried out series of case studies like the cocoa processing factory in Ileoluji, cocoa cooperative processing factory in Akure, Spagnvola chocolate factory Alade Idanre, Cocoa frm at oda in Akure.
