Description
Abstract This project was centered on designing a portal to assist bank customers and financial institutions computerize the process of customers requesting Automated Teller Machines (ATM) cards. In a bid to successfully carry out an ATM request and delivery system with a view of finding out its shortcomings, the current system was studied and relevant officials were interviewed to acquire the required information. The new proposed system will allow for easy retrieval of information that is accurate for the effective and efficient allocations and delivery of ATM cards to customers. It provides timely information about customers without their ATM cards. It ensures security as users can just request once before the issue of the ATM Card. The research methodology used in this project is the SSADM (Structured System Analysis and Design Method). The application was developed with PHP and MySQL. This language was chosen because of its easy syntax and features for developing web-based applications.
