Design and implementation of cyber cafe timer software

Description

Abstract This project is aimed at developing a networked timer. The timer software that monitors users’ access on the client computer system and keeps a log on its database. It is developed using Microsoft visual basic 6.0 or visual studio. It includes administrative features such as creating user accounts, deleting accounts, editing accounts, editing accounts, clearing log, generating reports and exiting the software at the server end, while on the client end. Users who have access to the system can pause timing, resume timing and log off the timer software. The problems encountered in the course of this work are: limited time and financial constraint. Notably, this timer software keeps track of authorized usage, prevent unauthorized usage and monitors all current users at the same time, also it does not allow multiple log-on with the same sign-in name.
