Abstract
This project work titled “computerized of power billing system” a case study of PHCN branch was carried out in order to ease the inaccurate method of billing customers and also to create reports on customers especially for management decisions in case of disconnection of customers from power connection. Power Holding Company of Nigeria plc is primarily vested with the responsibility of providing electricity for residential, commercials, institutions, and industry. The interview and observation methods were used to obtained primary data while the secondary data were obtained from relevant textbooks. PHP was used to implement the new program designed and MySQL was used for database management. At the end of the study, the new system designed was able to help in overcoming all the problems associated with the old method of billing in the PHCN. The researcher also made some useful recommendations.
