Abstract
This project, focus on preliminary activities that lead to a draft bill of qualities for a propose multi-purpose studio hall, Ilorin. It’s centralized on the preparation of bill of qualities for a studio hall and taking offs project. Meanwhile, this is to prepare the construction legation and to understand the construction arrangement between the client and the client and the construction company, industry. From the analysis of data, the following recommendations were made. 1. The quantity surveyor should provide an estimate during this preliminary stage of the project in order to forecast its likely cost. 2. It is important not to underestimate and not to overestimate proper estimating procedure should be used and the layout if the estimated should be clear and logical.
