Abstract
This study was intended to examine the Importance of Autocad In Civil Engineering. This study was guided by the following objectives The main objective of this study is to find out the importance of AutoCAD in civil engineering. The specific objectives include To evaluate the effect of AutoCAD in studying of civil engineering in Nigeria. To investigate an assessment of the use of the AutoCAD package for teaching. To design the method used in AutoCAD in civil engineering. The study employed descriptive and explanatory design questionnaires in addition to library research in order to collect data. Primary and secondary data sources were used and data was analyzed using the chi-square statistical tool at 5% level of significance which was presented in frequency tables and percentages. The study findings revealed that the following Hypothesis: H0: There is no significant effect of AutoCAD in studying of civil engineering in Nigeria. Hi: There is a significant effect of AutoCAD in studying civil engineering in Nigeria..
