Abstract
This research focuses on Problems associated with waste disposal (a case study of katsina metropolis). The issue of waste management has become a major health concern in katsina and the whole country at large. It has become the number one serious environmental problem affecting the state and consequently it affects pollution of air, water and land. It also regretfully affects the health of millions of people. Waste management should also arise from aggregate and waste from home, markets, commercial centres, workshops and cottage. Environmental pollution has become a part of an everyday life since the beginning of civilization. The economic and population generate of our nation and the improvement in standard of living enjoyed by our population have required increase industrial production to meet our need and to have made necessary the demolition of old buildings. The construction of new building and provision of commercial and agricultural operating have resulted to rise indiscarded and rusted materials. However, collection and disposal of waste of ten inefficient much information have been brought about by efficiently related to the control of all waste product. It is very important to know that our environment is precious to us and next generations, therefore, we should minimize wastes in our environment. It also entailed in the research work that, for effect management of waste in katsina metropolis the state government should help in establishing waste management industry, public enlightenment campaign should be carried on the importance of waste management .government should provide more equipment for effect management of waste. It is equally suggested that government should increase the salary of the workers for effective work.
