Public relations practices in Nigerian public libraries.
Abstract
Good public relations are a panacea for any good relationship between organizations and clients. The library, a client oriented organization is not an exemption. Public relations popularly known as PR within the Nigerian context is a prerequisite for the effective functioning of any library. Public services librarians in most libraries are the image makers and indeed, the gateway through which people get in contact with the information and reach the environment of the library.
