Abstract

This study was carried out to know how well the purchasing concept is applied in the manufacturing organization industry and the main focus in this study was Spring Bank Nigeria plc Owerri. This research work is divided into five chapters.  Chapter one deals with the introduction, the background of study, in chapter two the research tries to review relevant literature, chapter three deals with the methodology employed in the study. The instruments used for data collection were questionnaires, oral interviews and personal observations. The instrument of data collection was distributed by the researcher and the data collection was analyzed and it is shown in chapter four using a frequency table. Chapter five contains the summary, conclusion, recommendation and bibliography.
