Abstract
This research project looks at Readership pattern of online newspapers among students of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara. The study is designed to find out which Nigerian newspapers student read more online in Delta state polytechnic, Otefe – Oghara. Descriptive survey research method was employed in the data presentation using simple percentage. A total of 120 copies of questionnaires were distributed. The questionnaires were the instrument for data collection and from findings, only 100 copies were retrieved out of the 120 copies administered. From the findings, it showed that students of Delta state polytechnic, Otefe– Oghara often read Nigerian newspapers and that Internet subscription contributes to the factors which affect the readership of online newspaper among students of Delta state polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara. It was recommended that efforts should be made to shore up the credibility of the contents of Nigerian newspapers online and efforts should be made to update the contents of Nigerian newspapers online to keep them fresh and valuable.
