Abstract
This project focuses on The effect of inadequate facilities for the training of secretaries – a case study of Dekina local government area. With the aim of identifying how the absence of these office facilities availability of equipment affect the secretaries in Kogi State Polytechnic. There is need for office facilities to enable them make changes in the secretarial profession. This work is presented in five chapters. Chapter one which is the problem, chapter two contains the theoretical framework research methodology is the subject of chapter three. There the sources through which the information gathered for this research work is explained. The data collected were analyzed. From the analysis the researcher discovered that inadequate computer sets affect the practical class, therefore, the school environment needs more beautification to look like a higher institution but not glorified secondary school.
