Abstract

This project topic looks at The common uses of information and communication technology (ICT) in an organization, a case study of First Bank of Nigeria. Information and Communication Technology is the basic foundation upon which present-day organization work is dependent as business activities require more proactive goals and objectives. This study examines The common uses of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in an organization. Six research questions were used to guide the study. Twelve questionnaire items were generated which solicited responses from the respondents. The sample of study consist of twelve workers in First bank Lokoja. Simple percentages were used to analyze the data. The study found amongst that information and communication technology is a computer base technology made possible by the emergence of electronic revolution, which people used to work with information and supports. Information processing needs. It was recommended among others that the development of the right manpower with sufficient skills to cope with high reliance on (ICT) in an organization be put in place.
