Abstract

This project work studied the effect of terrorism in developing countries as it has to do with development and progress. It laid emphasis on selected officers of the state security service (SSS), public servants and some personnel in international relations. The aim of this work is to study how best the most effective means of allowing the freedom of special, religion, expression etc, in a country without jeopardizing the efforts of our leaders. The researcher collected data from primary as well as secondary sources using a well constructed questionnaire and direct interview which he administered systematically with the use of simple percentage, the findings based on test results include that the impact of terrorism does not affect the development and progress of developing countries. Rather its impact is felt more by developed countries which are their prime target in view of this, it is important to note that when the elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers. So when developed countries suffer from the impact of terrorism, developing countries suffer the most.
