Computerization of seat reservation for road transport system

Description

Abstract The topic of this project was chosen to acknowledge the fact that the author is really in support of the current efforts by government and private sector to introduce the use of computers. This project, therefore, covers the application, design, benefits and implementation of a computer-based booking and seat reservation system for a road transport company. A full study was carried out based on Investigation and analysis of the existing system and the method employed in the old system were also discussed and then a new system was proposed. This project also covers the implementation and programming stages. The implementation phase would involve training and education various personnel involved in the new system, converting the old to the new system, providing final testing of the new system and its maintenance.
