Development of a Medical software for diagnosing cancer

Description

Abstract This project is aimed at designing user-friendly medical software that could be used at homes, offices, schools and hospitals for early diagnosis of cancer and recommend the right prescription and treatment of various types of cancer. For this research work, the three major types of cancer affecting patients in Nigeria will be used but the form has been made for other types of cancers and diseases to be added to the software. The software is expected to capture patients records, store them, diagnose the patient and recommend treatment. The new system was designed using Microsoft visual basic 6.0 programming language. This language was chosen because of its easy syntax and features for developing windows based applications.
