Abstract
This project looks at the Impact of training on job performance of secretaries in organizations. This study is aimed at finding out the reasons for the training of secretaries and subsequent effect it has on their job performance. The research therefore uses SKYE BANK, ERUWA, OYO STATE as the case study. Poor performance as well as excellent performance is attributed to the training so far reduced and skills and experience acquired. At a time, poor or excellent performance of secretaries is attributed to some internal or external factors. Data for the study were collected through questionnaire. The sample size use for the study is 15 representing 15% of the total population. The selection of two (2) workers is randomly chosen from each department. In the process of carrying out the research project, the researcher came across some challenge such as Inability to get the attention of executives and secretaries during office hours.
