Abstract

This research is on The attitude of male students towards studying office technology and management – case study of trainnee office managers in Kogi state polytechnic, Lokoja. This study was carried out in order to find out the attitude of male students towards studying office technology as a course of study. A case study of trainee office managers OTM department, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja. The research question were asked in order to find out the problems, the aims and objectives of the study which is to find out the attitude of male towards the studying of Office Technology and Management several literature relating to the topic were viewed and questionnaires were administered. The population used was 217, which 20 students were used as samples from the department of Office Technology and Management. The findings reveal that lack of zeal, laziness and commitment, too much stress, males viewing the course as a female course and female employment advantage. It was recommended that a positive attitude should be shown towards the course in terms of seriousness, more zeal and more enlightenment should be given on the course to the student.
