This project is on Causes and effects of mass failure in mathematics, Federal College of Education. The study investigated the causes and effects of failure in mathematics taking the Federal College of Education into consideration. Mass failure and dread for the subject have been a concern to educators and education policy implementers. The study touched the aesthetic and scientific aspects of the course, tackled the cause and effect of failure, and addressed the myths of the subject, the magnitude of mathematics educators. The instrument for test and for data collection was designed by the researcher and was vetted by the supervisor to determine the phase and content validity of the instrument. The findings showed that failure in the subject was not as a result of their gender but external factors which if properly controlled will curb the excesses of failure and will enhance the achievement of the college’s objective for the female educators in their system. It ended with recommendations which if followed will yield desirable results.
