Abstract
The incumbent government led by captain Idris Wada came with the slogan of change initiative in various facets of lives in Kogi State. This phoneme is what prompted the researcher into this onerous task of researching into the impact of insecurity in the realization of change initiative in Nigeria in general and in Kogi State in particular. The research design for this work was chosen after due consideration of time factor, the economy as well as reliability and preciseness of data. The project study/research questionnaire were administered by hand to the respondents. The questionnaire design was to change initiative in Kogi State. These questionnaires were a total of one hundred and sixty-two (2OO) questionnaires to be answered. The study has delivered the impact of change initiative in Kogi state of Nigeria. Other various agents should have all hands on deck to kick out insecurity in our state. Government should pay more attention to the change initiative. When the government is serious, I am sure that other agents will emulate
